The cucumbers have tentacles that seem to sense the nearest lifeboat. The cilantro, in saving the cucumbers, may be strangled by these curling, binding tendrils. Or will the cilantro thrive despite the cucumbers? How naughty and ruthless and perfect it all is. Not so different than us, these plants.
